Wow. 2 movies I d/l'd today from new postings won't play.
"file exists but doesn't seem to have any video". None of my players won't play them.
This has never happened before. WTF has gotten into this place.

Yeah, my go to site as well. This place had old, foreign and obscure movies that other places afaik didn't have.
I did find the two movies that wouldn't play from here at another though and they worked.
Unless this place 'fixes' itself I'll probably wind up ditching it altogether. Sad. Came here for years

Banana Head reported that both TF and the Internet Archive have clearly broken many laws, but they have been allowed to continue without much real threat, as they "cooperate" with "certain authorities". Yet Russia is likely out of that loop.. That's too bad, as I enjoy my winters in Saint Petersburg.

EVO's rip is not a proper Blu-ray rip. Don’t expect a proper Blu-ray rip until after September 10.

The web release was on August 23, 2019, so expect that rip soon.

@MEMBER, I know TF has been banned/de-listed several times, yet anyone who has visited them can see it is a NEWS site and never supplied torrents or pirated material. They specialize in news about pirate sites. They use to be good source of news about pirate site status and rankings (indirectly giving peeps places to go) but in last couple of years specialize in reporting legal moves against pirate sites and involved individuals.

@Faruk, Thanks for info. I remember the troll era very well but hadn't remembered Faruk. I mis-stated my intent as it should have referred to the posting of competing sites. I try to not post anything that competes with the offerings here, but only to fill-in holes, missing or dead links. Sorry for any misunderstandings.

98% of the time as far as contemporary/current movies go, if a movie is below a 63 at Metacritic, I pass it right by.

I've noticed an inundation of indie movies the past several years. Not that indie movies are bad. It's just that we now live in the age of 'everyone and their grandma's can make music and movies'.

Probably not coincidentally because of that, IMDB has gotten out of control with fraudulent reviews.... with these indies, everything's a '10'. Fairly easy to spot though, heh

RARGB has been releasing a ton of PROPER/RERIP videos, many of rather old releases. I found no info at the RARBG site about it. Their 'News' is about Hollywood movies/TV network shows, etc.)
Does anyone know of have a clue what is going on?

OK, weird thing happening. I wouldn't think anything about it if it happened once, but now four times. CU file downloaded with 3 characters: '); appended to the filename end. No biggie, you just delete them and the file is fine, but 4 times in an afternoon if beyond coincidence. Anyone else seeing this?

Yeah, what's with all these 'Propers'?? Proper from what, lol. Plus, the few 'propers' I d/l'd wouldn't play.
Another thing. I got fast d/l speeds from CU links from some other place unrelated to movies/tv, but the CU links here all slow to a dialup crawl.

Anyone else trying to D/L Dark Phoenix 720p YIFY via CU -- really intermittent... up to 2.7 MB/s, but then slows to zero regularly. But it seems to be a good rip. Thanks, RMZ !

@realgamer - I got a great copy of John Wick 3 720p web-DL six days ago from another site. Not sure if their links are still any good. Would post it here, but I don't want to get banned.
