@BobDobbs...I get that too. Maybe it's some kind of trick to fool the bots to not delete the links after 1 or 2 days?

for example: if a bot is programed to delete every "Broad City S03E05"

the bot will not be programed to delete something called: "media_ramdisk_upload_646245_compressed_N990_b.S03E05"
that's too random.

I'm just guessing, of course, but we all know how frustrating it is to see links dead after only a few days. Just know it seems O.K. and safe to download.

Bob, I see your point.
I used to post for a private ebook + audiobook site.

every upload had to have a unique name that the bots would never be programed to sniff out and delete automatically.

every RAR had to be password protected as well for additional security.
that's just how the admin of that site wanted it.

this site would probably would suffer more with password protected links than without.

for example if all the hosters used a different password and each poster used a different password if that was the case.

the odd file names of uploadrocket links could be by design. a defense against being detected and deleted quickly.

Also I'm sure you know that all links expire in time and that has nothing to do with takedown notices, etc.

Agreed. As long as I get to watch my shows they can title the RAR archive whatever they want to. It's what is inside the RAR that I want. and if what is extracted is called: Broad City S03E05 WEB-DL x264-RARBG for example, that's fine with me
