There are sentences in the english subtitles, they sound a bit weird compared to american english or british english :-D I tried to correct sentences https://usersdrive.com/s653h8yjbj2j.html ; uploading the .srt file to opensubtitles.org didn't work, it asked for correct file for CD1? not sure if bug or error ?_?

Hey, if the subs were made in HK, not rare to see oddities from straight up translation from Cantonese! Get subs that where the encoder comments that they did (or can when you can see text samples,e.g. Subscene. Open Subs is better in general, yes, but Translations from Asian languages IS really hard...The sentence are either the closest they can (not 'coz bad translators) Good for you if you fixed them! But fixing the English might drive you further from the original meaning, and I think that's why sometimes they leave it "imperfect'; only someone who lived in HK and is absolutely bilingual could do it right, and even there... Cantonese is icon/concept-based, not word based, and not full of linking words like English, so will never sound totally smooth if trying to preserve real meaning AND trying to make it fit our phrasing and form; you have to approximate meaning (hence the famous "lost in translation" PLUS tweak the length of sentences as we see them uttered, it's a bigger challenge then, say, english/german etc

Also, I never uploaded to that site, but had no problems with Addic7ed,com, if you still wish to share your work!
