I wish i had the old VHS version, dub. This uploaded mp4 has an embedded subtitle track, but it was embedded out of synch.
It is off by several seconds at the beginning and gets progressively worse.

Never mind, I think that one actually worked, it was a problem turning off the embedded file but i think i got it working now.

Use MKVmergegui to make a new MKV, with original video and audio and new subtitle.
