Thanks for the info. Propers are popping up. Those with MKVTools can use your info to re-sync and save bandwidth.

Maybe it's just me, but when the A/V is so far out of sync, the 'fixed' version plays OK- until I FF and then there is a HUGE delay before it plays again. I'll look for the Proper. I was about to d/l the Rarbg version.

I've used MKVTools to fix only small delays, so I haven't encountered that problem. What I usually do is put the MKV into Subtitle Edit, fix the sync, and save the subs as a separate file. Then I use MKVTools to mux them into the MKV, eliminating the original subs.

It's a couple minutes of work, but faster than downloading a proper. Subtitle Edit is also great for automatically removing the hearing impaired parts of subs, and fixing capitalization errors in robo subs.

Good to know. I used to use mkvtools for resyncing but last year after an update they moved the tool/buttons and I couldn't figure it out. All the youtube videos used the old versions so they weren't any help. I've been using Avidemux ever since and is simple to work. The fixed files plays fine but ineffective RW/FF. I went ahead and d/l the Proper Rarbg just for that reason.

Just to followup, I ran my 'fixed' version through Handbrake with neutral settings and the result is fully functional. Looks great and the RW/FF works fine in VLC.

Just tried MKV Merge GUI again. I figured out if I select (highlite) the audio track then the time sync options appears. Works great, RW/FF work fine and no editing of the video track. Yea. Thanks for the push.
