Why am I getting virus warnings from the Uploaded.net file. After waiting 20 minutes I find out the file is blocked so I can't even open it plus it's infected or packed in such a way that it shows up as infected. I have found that almost 10% of all the files from Uploaded.net show up as blocked because file is infected with a Virus or malware warning. When I download the file from Kingfiles or 180upload I don't get the warning, so it's something that Uploaded.net is doing to the file. And I am paying for this premium service that is giving me infected files. Well, 10% are infected but that's still bad.

@uncabrian -- virus warnings from file hosts are almost always due to weird shit on their web pages, attempts to trick you by big "Download Now" buttons that install some "downloader" or "codec" while the actual rar file you want is hidden at the bottom of the page.

If you can find the rar file with the video, it's okay. Anyway, you can theoretically put a virus in a video file, but in practice, it will hardly ever work as it must be targeted at a specific player.

jDownloader is pretty good at avoiding all that crap. It just get the file you want and only asks you to solve a captcha if there is one. You can get plugins that do that too.
